This is the logo of the Australian-based Rain Makers Ozeania Association. It was adapted by Barry Ferrier from a painting by Conrad Hopman's father, Fredrick Jan Hopman. The original symbolist painting represents earth life forming in the ocean, climbing up on land, and then expending out into the heavens as birds.
The second variation/enhancement above was by Claire Douglas, who also contributed graphic design and multimedia/video work to the ongoing Rainmakers Ozeania project, and to whom I am grateful.
Conrad is grateful to his brother, Arius, a painter and photographer - see www.hopmanart.com, for permission to use copies of his work. The flower and landscape photographs are mainly his. A big THANK YOU! to the people who developed Joomla! and other Open Source Programmers who are making wonderful software available for free... Thanks also to the people who developed Google, Flikr, in the Adobe Photoshop and other software. They will be rewarded here on earth as projects proposed here start to do it some good. Otherwise doubtless in heaven. Apologies are owed to site visitors for the amateurish presentation of the material on it. It was prepared with no prior experience in website construction and little knowledge of Photoshop. Entry was largely with a dial-up internet connection (makes rude noises to start-up and is so slow that there is doubt whether it is asleep or dead), in poor light, and on a French keyboard. Copious notes have been prepared for the Restoring Hope section - it will be uploaded as soon as time permits. I will be travelling as of about October 2008 to discuss the practical implementation of Planetary Renaissance from the Ocean projects and have been invited to attend conferences and give talks - mainly on matters presented on this site. I also plan to see my native country - Kashmir - in the near future. The site will be reviewed, and its presentation improved along the way - unless I'm having too much fun doing other things. Thanking you in advance for your patience. csh
